VA Butler Healthcare’s new virtual Health Resource Center will begin supporting local veterans following an event planned for later this week.
A ribbon cutting ceremony with remarks from Butler VA leadership is scheduled for Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Abie Abraham VA Clinic on North Duffy Road.
The virtual center will operate on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. in order to provide veterans, family members, and caregivers in-person support using virtual care tools and health technology experts.
Following the grand opening ceremony, the VA’s Voluntary Services group will host a Veteran’s Social with cake and light refreshments as well as virtual care demonstrations and information about VA programs and services.
