It appears that the relationship between the East Butler Borough and the baseball association has come to an end.
According to a member of the East Butler Baseball Association, the borough voted to “separate itself from the EBBA.”
This is the latest in what has been a months-long negotiation over the usage of the baseball fields in East Butler.
The EBBA played games at the fields this summer, but then in August the borough said that the association wasn’t providing them with the necessary information to keep using the fields.
The EBBA now says that they will play spring baseball at the Prospect Boys and Girls Club and make a decision about their future soon.
