The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-2 last night at PPG Paints Arena. The win snapped a four-game losing streak. Jeff Carter scored twice for the Penguins, who snapped an 0-for-37 streak on power plays. Jake Guentzel broke the streak with the opening goal of the game. One of Carter’s goals was short-handed, also in the opening period.
The Penguins visit the Montreal Canadiens tonight. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:30pm.
