Area residents are invited out to an activity at Moraine State Park this week to enjoy the great outdoors.
On Wednesday park staff will lead visitors on a winter hike on a three mile section of the North Country Trail.
This hike will begin at 10 a.m. at the Bike Rental Building parking lot on the North Shore and focus on views of Lake Arthur in the wintertime.
Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. Participants are advised to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear as well as bring water and snacks.
