The WPIAL also announced its Class of 2024 who will be honored in May. The inductees include Knoch high school graduate Jordan Geist who was a legendary shot putter for the Knights who won six WPIAL and state titles, and went on to a national championship career in college at Arizona. Geist still has Olympic aspirations. The class of 14 will also include wide receiver Tyler Boyd, who starred at Clairton and Pitt, and now plays for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL.
