It was the first day in front of a judge for a Karns City School volunteer who is accused of sexually assaulting a teen.
According to our news partners at WPXI, 22-year-old Brayden Edwards appeared in court yesterday afternoon where he saw his bond reduced to $75,000.
Butler County District Attorney Rich Goldinger said that in exchange for waiving the preliminary hearing, the bond was reduced. However, Edwards now has additional bond conditions that were not in place before yesterday.
Goldinger also says that if Edwards is bailed out, he would be under pre-trial supervision.
Edwards is accused of sexually assaulting a teen who was involved in an extracurricular activity at Karns City High School, where he was a volunteer.
