The American Red Cross is once again sounding the alarm about a critically low blood supply.
Officials say that the recent winter storms have led to nearly 15,000 blood and platelet donations going uncollected.
In Pennsylvania, the Red Cross had to cancel 26 blood drives due to the winter weather.
Officials with the Red Cross encourage residents to visit their website to check out the list of nearby blood drives or to schedule their own drive.
