The public is invited to a fundraising event planned for this weekend to help a local family with a child in need.
A Help Aaron Play event will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Makers Market and Events Center on North Main Street Extension in Butler.
Those who attend will be able to view items from a large number of local vendors in an outdoor as well as indoor setting. Attendees are encouraged to contribute cash donations.
A portion of the proceeds from the vendor spaces at this event will help to pay for a nearly $9,000 driveway Aaron’s family had to have installed last summer in order to allow for wheelchair accessibility.
