A local organization helping residents in need of food assistance is getting support through a recent donation.
Earlier this week Vistra and Dynegy committed to a $5,000 donation to Cranberry-based Inspired Hearts and Hands.
This funding will be used to support Inspired Hearts and Hands Kids Empowered Scholar Program which includes an after-school component as well as child development.
Inspired Hearts and Hands addresses economic hardship and food insecurity through food box distributions, community events, educational enrichment programs, and student appreciation activities.
