An online program scheduled to begin later this week will provide information about how the design of a garden space can promote soil health.
Penn State Extension is offering a webinar on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. titled “Living on a Few Acres: Soil Fertility and Garden Layout”.
Beginning producers or homesteaders will learn more about the basics of soil composition, how to locate a good site for a garden or orchard, as well as how to set up a garden.
A fee of $5 is required in order to register through the Penn State Extension website.
