The Pittsburgh Pirates were 7-2 winners over the Marlins in Miami Friday night. Connor Joe, Ke’Bryan Hayes and Oneil Cruz each had two hits. Today’s game against the Marlins will be at 4:10pm, Jared Jones will get his first major league start. Sunday’s game will be at 1:40pm and can be heard on WISR 680 AM and 107.5 FM starting at 1:15pm. The Pirates traded right-handed pitcher JT Brubaker to the New York Yankees for a player to be named later.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are in Columbus to face off against the Blue Jackets this evening. WISR airtime is 6:30pm.
