A new walking trail will be coming to Alameda Park in the near future.
Butler County is reviewing bids for a 1/3 mile walking trail around the multi-purpose field at Alameda Park. This would be surrounding the open field by the volleyball courts.
Park officials say the goal for the walkway is to create an ADA-friendly trail that will provide ease of access for all park-goers.
They are also hopeful the project will begin this year, with fall being the earliest ground could break.
