Suspects involved in a “smash and grab” theft of guns in Mercer County appear to be in custody.
Our news partners at WPXI report that police in Pittsburgh took multiple teens into custody last night after they rammed into police cars.
According to the Mercer County DA, multiple guns, including AR15 rifles, were taken from Seconds Count Firearms near the courthouse square after a car crashed through the front window around 5 a.m. Monday morning.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen from Erie.
All of the suspects are underage according to WPXI.
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms is assisting local police with the investigation.
