Prom season continues for several local schools districts as more students participate in the traditional event this weekend.
Mars Area High School is holding their prom Friday from 6:45 to 10:45 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh – Cranberry with a theme of “The Great Gatsby.” The prom walk begins at 5:30 p.m. at the High School Auditorium.
Knoch High School is also holding their prom Friday beginning with the Prom Walk at 5:30 p.m. in the Knoch Stadium.
Then Saturday, the Seneca Valley High School Prom will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. with the Grand March beginning at 4:45 p.m. in the Senior High School Auditorium.
Moniteau High School is also holding their prom Saturday starting with the Grand March at 4 p.m. at the High School Auditorium. Prom royalty will be announced. The admission for this gathering is $5 per person to benefit next year’s prom. Kids under five years old are free.
