The Pennsylvania Department of Health is alerting parents about a kids toy with excessive lead levels.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recently issued a recall for Dixon Ticonderoga Creativity Street Foam Pattern Rollers typically used for painting by children.
Nearly 3,000 sets of this item were sold online through sites like Amazon and Walmart from September 2023 to January of 2024 for approximately $15. Anyone who purchased this product should keep the foam pattern rollers away from children until they can return them for a refund.
Those who would like more information on lead poisoning prevention or testing can call the toll-free lead hotline 1-800-440-LEAD or visit the Department of Health website.
