Penn State Extension is offering an online program later this week about how green infrastructure can improve health and quality of life in a variety of communities.
A 75 minute webinar titled “Green Infrastructure Planning for Healthier, Resilient Communities” will begin at noon Wednesday.
An urban and community forestry extension educator and a registered landscape architect will discuss how planning to incorporate green infrastructure can help communities tackle issues like flooding, water quality, and air pollution. Also participants will learn more about the benefits of green parking lots.
This monthly land-use webinar series is offered by Penn State Extension for a minor fee. This program will be recorded and available for future viewing with more information available on the Penn State Extension website.
