The Pennsylvania Turnpike is warning about an ongoing text message scam.
The scam sends a text message to your phone claiming you have an “unpaid toll invoice.” It will then say to avoid paying additional fees and have a link to a fake Turnpike website.
Officials say this is a scam. If you get a text like that, Turnpike officials say do not click the link.
