Crews will be installing new flashing lights at a notorious northern Butler County intersection this week.
PennDOT officials say there will be new mounted flashing beacons and warning signs installed at the intersection of Route 8 and Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.
These will replace the current flashing beacons at the intersection.
PennDOT also says that this is the first of a couple of projects that will be taking place over the next six months on Route 8 North.
Drivers could see delays during this time.
