Those interested in learning more about native plants are invited to Moraine State Park later this week for a hike along Lake Arthur.
The public is invited to meet with park staff Friday for a Summer Wildflower Hike along the Butterfly Trail near Pavilion 7 at McDanel’s Launch Area on the North Shore.
This activity will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until approximately 11:30 a.m. During an easy stroll of about a mile, participants will get a closer look at native plants and learn handy identification tips.
Participants are advised to dress for the weather and bring water.
