The last holiday weekend of the summer is expected to continue the busy travel trend of this past year.
AAA is predicting another strong Labor Day travel period, with an eight percent increase in those heading more than 50 miles from home.
The travel agency says the worst times to be on the road are from 1 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 2-6 p.m. Friday.
Vacationers will also see some relief at the pump, with gas prices dipping over the past week.
