With an expected surge of travelers this holiday weekend, the Pennsylvania Turnpike is getting ready for the uptick in drivers.
Officials with the Turnpike predict an estimated 720,000 vehicles will take the highway today alone.
Throughout the Labor Day Weekend, the Turnpike predicts 2.89 million vehicles, which is the same as the record-setting weekend in 2019.
With the increased traffic, all construction projects will be suspended until Monday night.
