Although there are still a couple of weeks left in summer, meteorologists have wrapped up their summer reporting.
Over June, July and August, the National Weather Service say the Pittsburgh area saw a warmer than normal summer.
The average temperature was 74.4 degrees, which is nearly three degrees warmer than average.
Meanwhile the rain total was just slightly below average. We received 10.79 inches of rain, just over an inch below normal.
