A man in Butler Township suffered minor injuries after a crash earlier this week.
Butler Township Police were called to the 200 block of Meridian Road on Tuesday for a vehicle crash. Upon arrival the driver of the vehicle, 54-year-old Patrick McDonald of Lyndora, told police his dog had jumped onto his lap while driving.
The dog then got entangled in the steering wheel, leading McDonald to hit two mail boxes and a utility pole. McDonald suffered a minor injury that did not require medical attention. The two dogs in the vehicle suffered no injuries.
McDonald was cited for operating a vehicle without a current inspection and careless driving.
