Local students will be participating in a fundraiser this weekend to get in the holiday spirit.
Students in the Mars Area High School Best Buddies Club are holding a Family Paint Night Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the cafeteria.
With assistance from Steele’s Brushes and Ceramics in Butler, participants will be able to paint a holiday ornament which will then be fired in a kiln.
The event is free but each ornament costs $15 and payment is accepted the day of the event.
