We are falling back an hour this weekend as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end.
When 2 a.m. strikes Sunday morning, the clocks will move back an hour to 1 a.m. as it officially becomes Standard Time.
However, the end of Daylight Saving Time hasn’t always been the first Sunday in November. In fact, that was changed in 2007 after lawmakers pushed it back so it would happen after trick-or-treat night so children would have more lightness when they went door-to-door.
The American Red Cross also reminds people that this is a great time to test batteries in smoke alarms to make sure that they are working.
