A woman has been charged for allegedly stealing money from a pizza shop in Butler.
Police say the District Manager of the Little Caesar’s in Butler noticed that deposits at the store were off. They reviewed store records and security footage to discover that 31-year-old Gabrielle Interval of Butler, who is the store’s general manager, is the one police allege was behind the thefts.
When the manager confronted Interval, she admitted to stealing the money and promised to pay it back but never did. In total over six days it’s alleged $2,953 was taken, but that is only accounted during days the manager tracked deposits.
Interval has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 12.
