Cranberry Township will not raise taxes this year thanks to growing revenue across the township.
Operating funds will be increasing due to the growing cost of healthcare, increases in Township employee’s salary, and inflation expenses.
Thanks to increases in real-estate tax and income tax the township will not need to raise taxes. The total operating budget will go from around $58 million to $65 million.
With projects such as improvements being made to the treatment plant, park upgrades, a separate sewer and water project the total budget will be $101 million.
