A bill intended to curb crime passed the house and senate with bipartisan support and the Governor is expected to sign the bill into law.
The city of Philadelphia has already banned the use of any device that can alter a vehicles license plate. With the support of the house and senate that will soon be law in the Commonwealth.
Current law is not explicit about devices that flip the plate, but this law closes any loopholes or ambiguated.
Once Shapiro signs the law into will go into effect in 60 days.
