A couple lost their mobile home in a house fire Sunday morning in Connoquenessing Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 11 a.m. for an odor inside a house in the 200 block of Hoot Owl Road, which is in the Woodlands area. It was soon upgraded structure fire with multiple fire stations requested to help.
The fire soon spread throughout the home. Everyone was able to safely escape, including the couple and multiple pets.
Crews were able to get the fire under control around noon, however the house was significantly damaged.
The Red Cross was called in to assist the family.
Crews initially believe the fire started due to an electrical issue.
