Local residents are being asked to join in an effort to save lives.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives is planned for today (Sunday) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
Another Vitalant drive will take place Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Center for Community Resources in Butler.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a $10 gift card as well as a chance to win one of five $5,000 gift cards.
