A local lawmaker has been appointed to a leadership position for the new legislative session.
State Representative Stephanie Scialabba has been chosen as a Republican Deputy Whip.
A total of 15 lawmakers will assist in the dissemination of important information to their colleagues, ensuring the Republican Caucus remains focused on a conservative agenda during the legislative session.
Scialabba was elected to a second term in the state house last month representing an area including Adams, Cranberry, and Jackson Townships.
