- Former University of Pittsburgh cornerback and longtime NFL veteran Darrelle Revis has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. The terms of the contract were not released. The 32 year-old Revis played last year for the New York Jets, and admitted it was his worst NFL season yet. The Chiefs did not indicate whether Revis would play this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
- The short tenure of Nate Peterman starting at quarterback for the Bills came to an end as of this week. Bills’ Head Coach Sean McDermott announced veteran Tyrod Taylor would start this week against the Chiefs. Peterman, a fifth round draft choice from Pitt this year’s draft, threw five interceptions in the first half of last week’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers, before being replaced by Taylor. The Bills are 5-5 and remain the AFC playoff picture.
