An administrator in the Seneca Valley School District is being honored with a statewide award.
Jeremy Womer, Assistant Principal at Haine Middle School, has been recognized with this year’s Outstanding Assistant Principal Award from the Pennsylvania Principals Association.
Womer has served in his current role since 2023. He has been an administrator for nine years and an educator for 15 years, beginning his career as a teacher and an administrator in West Virginia from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, he joined the Seneca Valley School District as acting assistant principal of Rowan Elementary School. In 2018, he served as a fourth-grade teacher at Haine Elementary School before continuing on to assistant principal and acting principal.
Womer is now eligible to be considered for the honor of National Association of Elementary School Principals National Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year.
