Slippery Rock University is set to open a new facility later this week.
The former University Union will be officially reopened as the Campus Success Center with a ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon in the first-floor lobby.
The new renovations include interior and exterior work with new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. The Campus Success Center will house the Office of Disability Services, Financial Aid Office, Student Support Office, Mailing Services, Parking Office, Student Counseling Center, Center for Career and Academic Progress, and the Student Health Center.
This project got underway in the spring of 2023 and cost nearly $20 million.
