A major roadway will have severe traffic this morning after several accidents closed the road.
Just after 9:30 am a call from the Butler County 911 center came in to shut down Route 28 in both directions starting at the Butler-Freeport exit (exit 17) after multiple crashes.
Details on the crashes have not been made available but crews working to clear the scene.
Drivers heading that way should seek different routes.
