The longtime owner of a Butler County trucking business has died.
Bob Hunter passed away over the weekend. He was the owner of Hunter’s Truck Sales, which began as a single location in Eau Claire and eventually grew into one of the country’s largest truck dealers.
Hunter was also actively involved in the community, serving on the board of Farmers National Bank and the Moniteau School District.
Hunter was also a graduate of Grove City College and a longtime supporter of the school. He will have a celebration of life at the chapel at Grove City College this Saturday morning.
Hunter was 83.
