The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry has opened nominations for the 2025 Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence.
The award recognizes employers with outstanding workplace safety programs.
L&I encourages every business to establish certified workplace safety committees, to improve compliance, reduce hazards, and lower workers’ compensation insurance costs.
Businesses can apply or be nominated by a third party and the deadline to apply is May 1.
