A couple of local municipalities will receive state funding in order to improve traffic flow and safety on a local road.
According to State Representative Aaron Bernstine, Forward Township and Adams Township have been awarded $125,000 to widen Marburger Road.
By widening this road, both local residents and travelers will have improved accessibility. It is not known when this work will take place.
This funding is made possible through the Multimodal Transportation Fund administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority.
