After filing a lawsuit over the federal funding freeze, Governor Josh Shapiro announced Pennsylvania has received the funding.
The Commonwealth has received $2.1 billion in federal funding after an executive order by the President Donald Trump was blocked in federal court and another lawsuit filed days later.
Shapiro said the freeze was denied by the courts, and argued the Trump Administration had withheld funds appropriated by congress.
It was announced that the funding had been unfrozen Monday afternoon and is being prepared to be distributed across Pennsylvania.
