Crews are busy responding to a number of accidents this morning.
There have been multiple crashes on I-79 southbound this morning. The first happened just before 6:30 a.m. in Muddy Creek Township for a single-vehicle rollover. Not long after that crash, there were two separate accidents in the southbound lane near the 98 mile marker—which is near the Route 422 exit. There are significant delays in that area.
We’re also seeing additional delays on I-79 Southbound just south of Cranberry, as traffic is backed up due to a multi-vehicle crash near Wexford.
Crews were also called to a three-vehicle accident just after 6:30 a.m. This happened in the 600 block of Saxonburg Boulevard. Police say at least two people suffered minor injuries in that crash—EMS was called for evaluations.
Another accident happened around 6:40 a.m. on Bonniebrook Road at the intersection with Keel Lane. One person suffered injuries to their head.
