There are plans to construct a new playground at Emily Brittain School.
Butler County Parks and Recreation officials say they were able to secure grant funding to help construct new playground equipment.
The updates will also include new safety surfacing, ADA access to the playground, along with landscaping and other site improvements.
The county says the playground will be open to families and students even when school is not in session.
Officials hope for the project to start this year.
