Butler County saw higher than anticipated revenues for 2024.
Officials say the county collected an additional $440,000 over their initial projections.
The county also had departments bring in about $500,000 more in fees than they anticipated.
That meant the county had to only take about $800,000 out of the fund balance to help close the gap.
