Hundreds of local residents of all ages spent over an hour reminiscing about past activities, friends, and teachers at the former Butler Area Middle School/Junior High facility Thursday night.
Now attention turns to a hearing next week that will determine the next owner.
The Butler County Court of Common Pleas has set a public hearing date for this Thursday (3/6) at 11 a.m. when a judge will decide which offer is most beneficial to the district and the community.
According to Superintendent Dr. Brian White, so far four prospective purchasers have informed district administrators of interest in the property.
