
A contractor has been charged after he allegedly took a payment and did not complete any work.
Butler Township Police have charged 38-year-old Matthew Blumling of Saxonburg for never starting work on a home after reaching an agreement.
It’s alleged that Blumling was paid $600 for materials and to work on a Butler Township home. But he never started the work and did not return the money.
Blumling has been charged with receive advance payment for services and fails to perform for this incident but is currently in the Butler County Prison on $20,000 bail for a different charge.
