Moraine State Park is offering local educators a workshop this weekend for those interested in teaching kids about the outdoors.
Instructors from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will lead a workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Park Region 2 Conference Room on Park Road.
Adult participants will receive a copy of the updated Project WILD curriculum and activity guide for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Those planning to attend are asked to pack a lunch and dress for the weather.
This workshop costs $20 to attend and registration is required by visiting the DCNR events calendar or calling the park office.
