An upcoming Slippery Rock University program will educate students, faculty and staff about online safety and dangers.
The annual SRU Cyberspace Event will be held on Tuesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. both on Zoom as well as in person at the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
SRU students from multiple departments will present real-world case scenarios and live software demonstrations. A guest speaker and recent SRU graduate will give a presentation about his role as Duquesne Light Company’s supervisor of cybersecurity operations.
Those interested in attending this free event are asked to complete an online registration form through the SRU website.
