A Hillards woman is facing charges after she allegedly assaulted her two children earlier this year.
State Police charged 32-year-old Trisha Kusner after she allegedly left several marks on her children in early March.
According to charging documents, the assault wasn’t reported until the children’s father picked them up from school, almost a week after the alleged assault. One of the children were complaining about their finger hurting.
The children told their father that their mother had hit them with a belt several times and the child tried to stop one of the hits with their hand.
After a medical examine of the children, police charged Kusner with two counts of simple assault, endangering the welfare of children, and a felony endangering the welfare of children.
A preliminary hearing has been set for May 20.
