Police are providing more information on a crash that sent one person to the hospital earlier this week in Clay Township.
The accident happened Tuesday around 4 p.m. on Route 8 North at the intersection with Euclid Road.
State police say 83-year-old Carol Eury was driving north on Route 8 when a car in front of her stopped to make a turn on Euclid Road. Eury didn’t see the car and collided into the rear-end of the vehicle.
Eury was driving a smart car and suffered minor injuries in the crash. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital by ambulance.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
