Butler County is now sending out mail-in ballots for this spring’s upcoming primary election.
Election officials say they have sent out more than 8,000 ballots for the primary election.
As of Wednesday, the county had nearly 12,000 requests for mail-in ballots.
Voters have until May 13th to request a mail-in ballot; however officials urge voters to make their requests early so they can fill out and submit the ballot in time.
The primary election is set for May 20th.
