A Butler County Judge has denied a motion to end the proceedings for a homicide case.
After a mistral in the case of 39-year-old Hassan Brack, Judge Timothy McCune has denied a motion for acquittal which was filed by Brack’s lawyers.
If approved this motion would have had the court declare Brack was not guilty and end further prosecution of the alleged crime. Instead another trial will be held in the near future with no specific dates.
Brack has been accused of killing 31-year-old Hakeem Morgan in December 2021. He’s being held in the Butler County Prison and was denied bail.
